...when voices get close, they bring with them many large and small things. They have to settle inside us to penetrate our external voice. But passing this labyrinth and getting closer and closer to them has the risk of moving beyond the borders of hearing. At this stage voices are experienced, just like those who suffer from the affliction of constantly hearing others inside their heads, whether they choose to or not...

Human ideas can be imposed or be exploited by others. These ideas can be derived from superstition or come in to force on the basis of a predetermined plan.
This collection is based on the social thoughts and beliefs which sometimes lead people into prison or death. Words which have been transformed in to scream and sometimes have never been told!
Iranian culture has undergone plenty of revolutions due to widespread attacks in the history of Iran. The word attack refers to domination of a foreign nation over a country with different interests and objectives for a long time (Such as the attacks of Alexander, Arabs and Mongolians) which leads to a variety of cultural influences and cause gradual evolution in etiquettes and tradition of that society. The beliefs of different people which rise from religious, secular, political and social viewpoints demonstrate different exterior aspects; depict the general form of a society and ultimately the whole country.

…these photos are reason of my look, a pure moment and Obedience of the cameras. It’s a reason of deep Beauty memories, from getting a camera as a gift in the years before of learning the alphabet. The Photos are the Words, The sentences and they say about our felling and they are many more than a frizzing a moment.
Now think when a Photo lover loves the horses…

Solo Painting Exhibition Hamidreza Andarz
“Reality transforms into poem the moment that a person looks at it from a poetic perspective. For me Art is a second alternative for the moment that in reality is transient or even doesn’t exist “.
Because of the dreamlike features in Andarz’s paintings, object distances from its realistic imagery and the objects essence gets replaced by its physical form. the other feature of these paintings is there disorientation to any time, location and nationality. This eternity and universality in Andarz’s paintings is a reminder of Shahid Saless’ films, Parvaneh Etemadi’s drawings and Yadollah Royaee’s poems.
Exhibition: October 12, 2012
Opening: Friday 4 - 9 pm
The Exhibition is on view through October 24, from 11 am to 20 pm.
